About The Book
The Girl With The Yellow Car
It’s the oldest and most familiar story in the world: girl meets boy, falls in love, and gets her heart broken. Yet, this book takes a fresh approach by focusing on the girl’s journey of healing and self-discovery after the breakup. Told through a collection of poems, the narrative is divided into three sections.
The first, From Him, offers a glimpse into the boy’s perspective on the relationship. The second, From a Stranger, explores broader themes that weave through the story, adding depth and universality. Finally, From Her invites readers to join the girl on her transformative journey of healing, learning, and growing through loss.
As readers follow her every step, they witness how the girl with the yellow car emerges stronger, more self-aware, and deeply reflective about herself and her relationships. In the end, she confronts the reasons love hasn’t worked for her in the past, arriving at a powerful and profound realization.
